Sunny Leone On Casting Couch: It Does Exist In Industry, Lucky To have Not Experienced It

Sunny Leone acknowledges that casting couch does exist in the entertainment industry but she is lucky to have not gone through it.
The recent Harvey Weinstein scandal in Hollywood created rippled across the global entertainment industry and many Bollywood celebs spoke up on the issue. The latest to join the brigade is “Baby Doll” Sunny Leone who has worked in the west as well as the east. The 36-year-old actress recently opened up about the raging issue and acknowledged the existence of casting couch in the glamour industry. However, she pointed out that it is not just women who have to face the nasty experience, men too go through the same.
The “Tera Intezaar” actress said that she is lucky not to have gone through it as she was always sheltered by her team and her husband Daniel Weber. Nevertheless, she is happy that the issue has come to the fore and actors are speaking up on it. She feels that it is very important to talk on the subject as it will make the youngsters, especially women, confident and they will not succumb to any pressure.
She is also hopeful that one day the industry will be able to get rid of the malicious practice. In fact, she is proud of all those women who have stood up against casing couch. As for her fighting mantra, she says that she believes in being fearless and it is this very attitude that has helped her survive in the male-dominated industry. Today, she is in a position where she can say no without any fear and it gives her immense pride to have made this far on her own.
It may be mentioned here that the actress will be next seen in the romantic drama “Tera Intezaar” opposite Arbaaz Khan and is also said to be in talks to do the Hindi remake of the superhit Punjabi film “Jatt & Juliet.”
