“Tubelight” may be one month away from its release date but Salman Khan’s dad Salim Khan is all praise for Salman Khan’s performance in the film. What is more, director Kabir Khan has shared a short clip of the making of the film and it has made fans all the more curious about the movie.
“Tubelight” has been creating a good deal of buzz much before its release and now fans have some more reasons to look forward to the film as veteran scriptwriter and Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has praised the film, DNA reported. Appreciating his son, the senior Khan said that Salman has done some good work in “Sultan” and “Bajrangi Bhaijan” and now he has also done well in “Tubelight.”
However, he added that all of these three performances cannot be compared. One being asked if “Tubelight” will get Salman an award, he said that his family does not run after awards. Admiring “Tubelight,” he revealed that he had watched the film when it was still unfinished but he could fairly assume that the ultimate product would be very good.
Speaking of unfinished form, yesterday director Kabir Khan shared a short clip of the making of “Tubelight.” According to Zee News, the director shared the video on Twitter and it had fans going gaga after the clip. The clip shows Salman Khan having fun on the sets along with his co-stars and director. The one-minute clip also gives a peek of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and child artist Matin Rey Tangu.
It is worth mentioning here that “Tubelight” is a remake of the 2015 Hollywood film “Little Boy” and is slated to release in theaters on June 25. It is based on the 1962 Indo-Sino war backdrop. It will also see the late Om Puri in a significant role along with yesteryear actor Shatrughan Sinha.
