In fresh allegations, Kapil Mishra, the sacked Aam Aadmi Party Tourism and Water minister, has said that the foreign trips of the party leaders were sponsored by a scam-ridden businessman.

Aam Aadmi Party’s sacked Tourism and Water minister, Kapil Mishra has some fresh allegations against the party and its members. He has said that the foreign trip of the party leaders, Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh, to Russia was sponsored by a scam-ridden businessman, The Hindu reported. The businessman, Sheetal Singh had also accepted that he had sponsored the foreign trips.

According to Kapil Mishra, Mr. Singh is a tainted businessman as he runs a business of high-security registration plates involving companies that are allegedly under the scanner for fraud. He further stated that a scam of 400 crores related to high-security registration plates in Delhi is being investigated.

Mishra questioned Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal about his knowledge of the scam. He further asked him if he remembers that during AAP’s government of 49 days, the committee formed for investigation, dug up about the scam and scrapped the projects of several companies, which surprisingly continue till date.

Moreover, Mishra stated that even after asking about the details of the foreign trips, nothing was shared and he is pretty confident that when all the details about the foreign trip and the scam come out in the open, Arvind Kejriwal will have to leave India.

In related news, Arvind Kejriwal has called Kapil Mishra’s allegations as “wild allegations” and has stated that he does not feel the need to even respond to them, Firstpost reported. In the party’s Twitter page, Delhi’s CM was quoted saying, “Why should I respond to such wild charges. People are not believing in these allegations and neither are my opponents. Had even one of the allegations leveled against me were true, I would have been in jail by now.”

Arvind Kejriwal has also said that he is pained as his own people are backstabbing him.
