“Dhadak” poster is out and debutantes Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar have set hearts aflutter with their lovely looks. The duo looks adorable together with the former dressed up in a gold-black lehnga and the latter sporting denim jeans and cotton shirt. Also, one can see the glimpses of 80s diva Sri Devi in her daughter and Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother also has a lovely smile similar to his star brother.

As fans know, “Dhadak” is the Hindi remake of 2016 Marathi blockbuster “Sairat” which broke records at the box office with its earnings. The Nagraj Manjule-directed romance saga between an upper caste girl and lower caste boy turned out to be such a big hit that Karan Johar bought its copyrights. Later, he announced that he would launch Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar in the Hindi remake and today, he shared the poster of the film on Twitter.

Sri Devi also did the same asking for the blessings and wishes of the film fraternity for her daughter’s debut and Bollywood was quick to respond. While Varun Dhawan welcomed Janhvi and Ishaan, Sonam Kapoor acknowledged being floored by the poster in a heartbeat. Riteish Deshmukh showered the poster with effusive praise expressing admiration for everything about “Dhadak.”

Well, this is definitely great news for Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar as they prepare to begin shooting for their debut film in December. Helmed by Shashank Khaitan of “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” fame, “Dhadak” is said to be based in the hinterlands of Haryana and it would be interesting to see what new flavors the acclaimed director brings in this remake of “Sairat.”
