Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’s Broadway Debut Next Year At Lyric Theater
“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is all set to make its Broadway debut as the dates have been finalized for the stage play. The play will premiere on April 22, 2018 at the Lyric Theater and the theater is being renovated currently.
Lyric Theatre will witness the premier of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” on April 22, 2018, Variety reported. Notably, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” takes off from where the Deathly Hallows left. And the story is of Harry Potter and his son Albus. The stage play will have two-part, with two full-length segments that will be staged over a day or on two consecutive evenings.
Apart from “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” Disney’s “Frozen” will also be making its Broadway debut next year. This news has all the theatre lover extremely excited as there will be a lot of spectacular shows in 2018.
Industry experts feel that the stage play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will be nothing less than super hit among the people in the US too. It was greatly successful in London and it also received a lot of rave reviews from the critics. Moreover, it also made a record as it received nine Oliver Awards.
Notably, the Lyric Theater is also making all preparation to stage the play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” next year. It is undergoing renovation currently and in months to come, details about the sale of the tickets will also be revealed.
