Gionee has just launched its latest smartphone, the M7 Power in India. One of the biggest highlights of the new phone is its massive 5000mAh battery. The phone also features a large 6-inch FullView display that comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This smartphone was first launched in China in September, alongside the M7. The Gionee M7 Power will become available for purchase in India from November 25 via Amazon India.
The Gionee M7 Power is priced at Rs. 16,999, and pre-orders on Amazon India will begin at 5pm IST on Friday. The company is expected to announce further offers on the phone. The phone will be sold in Blue, Gold, and Black color variants.
The dual-SIM M7 Power runs the Amigo 5.0 that is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It features a 6-inch HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) FullView IPS display that comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio as well as Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the phone is a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The rear panel of the phone features a fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the optics on the device, there is a 13 megapixel auto-focus camera at the rear with an f/2.0 aperture with LED flash. On the front is an 8 megapixel fixed focus camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone comes with 64GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card to 256GB in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.
Connectivity options onboard the Gionee M7 Power include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Gionee M7 Power gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery.
