CBI Arrests Class XI Student In Pradyuman Murder Case, Arrested Boy’s Father Opposes Charges
Pradyuman was found murdered on Sep. 8 on his school premises inside the bathroom.
The CBI has arrested a class XI student of the Ryan International School in connection to the murder of Pradyuman Thakur.
In a startling development, the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has arrested a class XI boy of Ryan International School in Pradyuman murder case. According to The Times of India, the apex investigation agency nabbed a class XI student of the school in connection with the murder. The father of the arrested boy has also confirmed his son being detained but maintained that he was innocent.
Speaking to the media, the father said that his son was arrested on Monday night by the CBI on charges of murder and claimed that his son was not involved in the murder of the slain 8-year-old Pradyuman. He explained that his son had only informed the teachers and gardeners after seeing Pradyuman’s body in the school corridor. He also said that no blood stains were found on his son’s clothes.
Meanwhile, sources say that the arrested boy had anger management issues and killed Pradyuman to avoid exams and parents-teacher meeting, claimed Zee News. It is also said that the boy had been spotted with a knife on the day of the murder on the school campus and that he had told his classmates that he would do something to cancel the exams.
However, he had not planned to kill Pradyuman specifically and intended to hurt some student. The CBI is expected to hold a press conference on the matter in the afternoon and the accused will also be produced in the juvenile court today but insiders claim that the boy has confessed to his crime.
A bus conductor of one of the school buses had confessed to killing the boy after being unsuccessful in sexual assault but the parents of the murdered child did not buy the theory and demanded CBI probe in the case.
